Samhain (pronounced sah-win) is the celebration we now more commonly known as Halloween.
One of the 8 Sabbats on the wheel of the year, and often know as The Witches New Year.
This is a time of magic, ritual, but as well as this – rest.
Samhain reminds us of the cycle of life, and cyclical living. Though often associated with death and endings, this is also a time to honour new beginnings, which will be explored in the workshop.
Our time together will include an embodied movement and Yin Yoga practice, learning about and option to take part in some Samhain rituals including building our altar space.
A break for a bowl of delicious and warming Samhain stew, and time to settle down into deep rest.
Samhain is a time of community and gathering together, which is exactly what we shall do!
This workshop is welcome to, and suitable for complete beginners and beyond.
Just come along with an open heart and mine, to enjoy an evening of ritual and rest!
