Songs and chants that honour Mother Earth, sending healing out with our voices to our beautiful Earth, reconnecting us to deeper parts of ourselves and All Our Relations.A joyful session at a very special venue. The Quiet View has a beautiful quiet garden where we might share some of the time outside and we will have a fire in the beautiful cosy yurt. We shall sing some of our familiar chants and some special ones for Samhain, honouring the ancestors, giving thanks for the last Harvest and honouring the darkness, introspection and magic of the coming winter.
The songs are simple, yet powerful, especially when sung as a group. No experience necessary. Suitable for beginners but those with more experience will be welcome to add harmony parts. We will also do some simple rounds, these are usually the most trancelike and magical. If you have a drum you may wish to bring that too or other simple percussion instruments. Herbal teas and snacks provided.
