Support monca during our first ever Samhain Festival fundraiser on Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 7-9PM. Samhain (pronounced SOW-en) is a traditional Gaelic festival honoring the end of the harvest season and welcoming winter. We will celebrate the transition between seasons with traditional Celtic music, and storytelling.
The Celtic Halloween celebration will be hosted by Lynn Elliot, a former CSU Chico professor, Welsh playwright, and Celtic storyteller. Enjoy performances by opening acts the Celtic Knights of the Sea Men's Choir and Corrib, followed by the main performance by Ha'penny Bridge Revisited.
Headlining musical act, Ha'Penny Bridge Revisited is a revered Celtic band and have performed numerous times over the years at the KVMR Celtic Festival. The founder, Mark McKinnon, sadly passed away after fighting cancer. The current band members perform in his honor. The musical expertise and passion of Ha'Penny Bridge Revisited is palpable!
Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar. All proceeds go to monca and help support our mission to experience and create art for the sake of enjoyment, expression, social cohesion, innovation and communication.
