You are cordially invited to a traditional Dumb Supper/Potluck to celebrate our ancestors followed by a fire ritual to welcome the new year! Guests are asked to bring photos of your ancestors that you'd like to share for our altar, along with a traditional or recipe from your family to share. Don't have a family recipe? It's OK! Bring what you'd like to share. Plates, Cutlery, Napkins, and Water will be provided. For beverages, we hope you partake in Cafe Tamake's tea offerings as tribute for graciously agreeing to host this event. If you have another preference, please bring your own non-alcoholic drink.
6:30 to 7:15 - Social time
7:15 to 7:45 - Dumb Supper, no talking will be allowed at this time to allow our ancestors to enjoy their feast in peace :)
7:45 - 9:00 - Fire ritual. We will be letting go of those things from the past year that no longer serve us and putting forth our intentions for the new year.
