??Sacred Cacao Ceremony this month is a little different as we embrace the Sacred time of Samhain and the energy of this time of year.??For thousands of years ancient tribes have considered cacao as a sacred plant with healing properties. Not only was cacao used in ceremonial settings but it was also renowned as a medicinal plant that aids in the healing of and opening up of the heart. It facilitates greater connection to other people and to yourself.
?We will come together for this sacred ceremony, honouring this sacred plant medicine, the time, space, yourself, and all the components that will come together to create the experience.
We will set our intention and reconnect, with our Ancestral heart opening up our heartspace to heal.
It is such a beautiful practice and I hope you will join this sacred ceremony.
you are also very welcome to bring any photographs of loved ones or ancestors that have passed, to add to the altar space so we can honour and respect their memory.

The evening will consist of giving thanks to the ancient medicine and receiving its gift in the form of a blessing.
You will then drink the sacred Cacao and accept its medicine.
To get your blood flowing and let the Cacao move through your body, we will move with breathwork. We will release any inhibitions and move for a short healing release and connect with your own body (you can move as you feel comfortable or are able)
We will then relax in sacred space for a guided meditation to your own ancestral heart space.
The sacred Cacao will open your heart and give you release so you can heal and reconnect. You will be welcome to share in this safe and nurturing circle, giving you the time and love to let go.

Cacao has no hallucinogenic effects and is a natural plant medicine. It has medicinal properties and is a healing medicine.
As it does open the heart anyone who has any heart problems (pacemaker, etc) would be advised not to use cacao.
Anyone on any blood pressure medication must make the facilitator aware as your dose will need to be reduced.
Also if you are taking anti-depressant medication you may experience a slight headache after taking cacao.
