SEATTLE SAME POST PRESENTS OUR FEBRUARY NOON PROGRAM
Title - SIOP – Shipyard Infrastructure Optimization Program
Presenter - Dave Sweet, Director, SIOP Department - PSNS
Presentation Description
- SIOP is a 20 year Department of Navy program implementing a strategic recapitalization of all critical infrastructure that supports depot-level ship maintenance at public naval shipyards. SIOP is focused on recapitalizing dry dock, industrial facilities, capital equipment, and utilities to improve throughput in the shipyards so they can return ships to the Fleet on time and on cost. The Navy is executing a once-in-a-century update to all four of its public Naval shipyards to ensure they meet current and future requirements.
