Aligning with Policy: Insights on Legislative, Executive and FAR Reforms (1 PDH)
Presented by Sam Le (Sam Le Law PLLC)

Join us for a timely and informative session with Sam Le, one of the nation’s foremost experts on federal small business contracting policy. As a former SBA policy director and founder of GovCon Intelligence, Sam brings a unique, insider’s perspective on how recent legislative actions, executive orders, and regulatory changes — including the sweeping FAR overhaul — will impact government contractors of all sizes.

In this session, Sam will break down what’s already in motion and what’s on the horizon, including:

  • Key takeaways from the NDAA
  • The latest SBA rule changes affecting HUBZone, 8(a), WOSB, and SDVOSB programs
  • Executive actions reshaping acquisition priorities
  • FAR and DFARS updates, including threshold increases and structural reforms
  • What contractors should be doing now to stay competitive and compliant

Whether you're in business development, compliance, or executive leadership, this is your chance to get strategic, actionable insights directly from a trusted GovCon policy insider.

Don’t miss this opportunity to hear what’s really changing in government contracting — and what it means for your business.

Named America’s Small Business Champion by the American Small Business Chamber of Commerce, Sam Le is one of the nation’s most respected legal authorities on small business government contracting. With two decades of federal legal and regulatory experience, Sam is one of only two individuals to have simultaneously led the U.S. government’s small business regulatory, advocacy, and size programs during his time at the SBA.

He played a key role in driving a 50% increase in federal contracts to small businesses — reaching over $180 billion annually — and was a principal developer of the SBA’s Small Business Data Hub. Sam’s litigation experience includes hundreds of cases before the SBA Office of Hearings and Appeals and GAO, as well as successful advocacy in Kingdomware Technologies v. United States before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Now in private practice, Sam counsels businesses on SBA program compliance, size and affiliation determinations, and procurement regulations. He also publishes GovCon Intelligence, a widely read resource for updates in federal contracting. A graduate of the University of Virginia for both his undergraduate and law degrees, Sam currently co-chairs the American Bar Association’s Small Business Committee and is licensed to practice in Virginia, Washington, D.C., and before the Supreme Court.
