About this Event
Join us for a special Business-to-Business networking holiday program!
We're back for our second annual B2B and Holiday Social at the GW Hotel in Winchester, VA, and we can't wait to celebrate the season with you for this special holiday networking event for our SAME community.
Sign up for a 3-minute presentation spot and have the chance to showcase your A/E/C Industry firm, capabilities, who you are looking for in teaming partners, and what agencies or type of firms you want to increase working with.
Note: The 3-minute spots are limited to firms in the Architecture / Engineering / Construction (A/E/C) industry that team together to pursue a contract. Presentation spots are not available for products (ie, manufactured products, etc.) There are limited number of spots available.
We have invited USACE and FEMA (and others!) to join us and brief on what opportunities they have coming up and to answer your questions. Agencies will have a 15 minute spot during the B2B. If you wish to present your government agency role and opportunities during our program, please reach out and we will happily include you in our program.
Don’t want to lead a presentation? No Problem! Come and listen to the presentations and find your new teaming partner!
After the presentations we’ll start our holiday social networking, connect with those firms that fit in your firm’s strategic plan, make the connections, and start the conversation.
All ticket holders will receive entry to event with BRP hosted **open bar (wine and beer)** and heavy hors d’oeuvres at the holiday social. Coffee/tea/water and light snacks will be served throughout the program.
Opt-in for a list of registered participants; program presentations will be shared with registered participants the day of the event and later posted on the BRP website in December.

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
- SAME Blue Ridge Post will announce each person’s name and their firm. You can see on the schedule when it is your turn. Start coming up to the podium when the previous person starts to leave.
- You have ONLY 3 minutes. You will get a yellow warning when you have 30 seconds and red when you hit your 3 minutes. If you go over, we will cowbell you 😊
- All presentations will be shared afterwards on the SAME BRP website. Contact information for each company is in the program for follow-up networking. We will also share an opt-in contact list for everyone attending.
- Live Q&A only with government speakers (15-minute spots)
- The follow up is up to you. You need to reach out to other firms to connect and you should be courteous and respond to those who reach out to you.
FOR ALL ATTENDEES
Listen to the speakers. You may not see a way that you can be teaming partners but listen to WHO they want to partner with and WHICH agencies they want to break into.
- Do you know someone else that would be a good fit as a teaming partner?
- Do you have a connection at the Agency they are looing at, or know someone who does?
- Or do you have any advice on how to start with the Agency?
