Shake the cold away and have a great groove-tastic time as we embark on a dance journey to Bahia - northeast of Brazil.

ABOUT THE GUEST & WORKSHOP
Mariana Pinho is a Brazilian dance teacher who has been sharing her passion for Brazilian culture through dance, costume and production since 2004. She has been a friend of ART BRASIL since we first met in 2008 and has visited us many times to teach.
In this workshop visit, Mariana will share her knowledge of Samba Reggae through the beats and moves of the Afro Blocos of Salvador: Ile Ayie, Olodum, Timbalada and more, creating a dialogue between drum beats and body! She guarantees fun with plenty of interesting content and references, including some Samba de Roda to warm up and homage to Orixa movements!
