A household name in Canada’s blues and retro-soul scene, Samantha's fresh and genre-bending approach to blues-based soul music is one of a kind and has even confused Rolling Stones magazine editors as to the band’s genre. In fact, while Samantha’s latest record topped soul charts around the globe, she was noimated for a JUNO in the blues category while receiving a “pick of the month” for best country song from Rolling Stone Magazine!
While Samantha is a powerhouse unto herself, the vocal alchemy of Delta Sugar is not the work of a single talent. In combination with what she terms her “co-vocalists,” the vocal blend that Delta Sugar produces is pure, unadulterated gospel-tinged, neuron-tingling magic!
