In the tradition of Tom Jones, Mariah Carey and others, Samantha Farrell is bringing a crew of her favorite musicians to present us with "A Blue Christmas" Holiday Spectacular at Boston Harbor Distillery!Samantha will be hosting and performing with a stellar lineup of her most talented friends: featuring soul & R&B singer-songwriters Jesse Dee and Jen Kearney, masters of 3 part harmonies the Brothers McCann, and perhaps an equally exciting surprise guest or two.
Backing these great singers will be Chris Hersch and the MoonRaiders – a band that was nominated for New England’s Best Roots Act of the Year.
These performers will be taking a rare turn outside of their usual repertoire to sing the soundtrack of the season. Their assignment is to pick a few of their favorites from the holiday catalogue and some of their own originals of the hall-decking and bell jingling variety. Expect an evening imbued with jazz-tinged nostalgia, existential angst, warm and moody blues, and some rare, rootsy rock renditions of more obscure holiday gems.
