Sam Robbins is often described as an "old soul singer songwriter." A Nashville based musician whose music evokes classic singer songwriters like James Taylor and Jackson Browne, Sam adds a modern, upbeat edge to the storyteller troubadour persona. An avid performer, he has gained recognition from extensive touring, as one of the six 2021 winners of the Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk competition, and as the first to sing a Jim Croce song on The Voice. Sam released his second album "Bigger Than in Between" to critical acclaim in August, 2022. Sam will be releasing his first live album, "Live from a Living Room", recorded in Fort Worth, TX, in Spring 2024."
Jay Williams spent part of his youth living on a sailboat, exploring the Gulf Coast, Florida Keys, and the Bahamas. This experience fostered a deep connection with nature, which is often a key theme in his songwriting, whether through whimsical animal characters or dramatic natural events. His musical style blends folk, jazz, pop, country, and rock, performed with a percussive, finger-picking technique on a nylon string guitar. Jay's lyrics take center stage, weaving together comic foot-tappers, dreamy ballads, and historical tales. His music offers a laid-back gumbo of songs and stories flavored by tales and tidbits to enchant and entertain.
