Sam Prekop and John McEntire

Sam Prekop and John McEntire have a new project, Sam on Modular synthesizer, John on electronic percussion. Having completed two European tours, this concert will be their Chicago debut and only the second show in the US. John and Sam have played together in The Sea and Cake for over two decades, and have a shared passion for electronic and improvised music. This project brings all of these elements together along with myriad surprises and unexpected turns, still Sam and John’s sensibilities will be quite present to those familiar with their work over the years.

An opening set will be played by M. Sage.
