SAM AND THE CIRCLE CYCLE is an evolving concept put together by singer, songwriter, guitarist Sam Fletcher."In the beginning the idea was to write songs as a self taught experiment" which resulted in three albums "Learning A Living" "Sunflower Pilgrimage" and a self titled ep. A collection of songs from these albums & some previously unreleased songs, have been released to Spotify as an online album titled RELICS.
CCCC is evolving and over time a love for blues & rock, is influencing the current live show with reworked covers of Hendrix, The Stones, Led Zepplin, The Doors, Elvis, Beck and so on plus some new originals.
Sam has had considerable experience playing in festivals, pubs & venues across the country. More recently, covid provided an opportunity to take an unexpected break & re connect with music experimentation. Also, interesting to note Sam is legally blind, with a condition known as retinitis pigmentosa, which acts like a severe tunnel vision. The time out gave him space needed to embrace his impairment and the obstacles associated with vision loss.
The Sun is a central theme to CCCC music. An energy source on many different levels of the life cycle. Progression is the key. Put on your dancing shoes and celebrate a new day, a new progression....
