The Sam Dimov Quintet Pizza Party will feature an evening of almost-entirely original jazz, written by the members of the band, with a standard or cover thrown in.

Bridging the gap between traditional and contemporary music, while incorporating some ideas of his own, Sam Dimov brings a truly eclectic form of trombone playing to Austin. From the start of his musical career in Philadelphia, his drive and passion for music have allowed for him to play with a wide variety of ensembles across the country. As the leader of the Sam Dimov Trio and Sam Dimov Quintet, a member of Hepner's Rebellion and various ensembles within the 287th Army Band, while working as a sideman with numerous other ensembles and productions, Sam has been able to develop a firm grasp on versatility and adaptability in today’s music industry.

Show Me Pizza is one of the best (if not THE best) pizzerias in Austin for not only their food, but their support of the local community, to include their local musicians.
The show will take place in the covered garden/courtyard, and propane heaters will be available in the event of cool weather.
Whether or not you purchase a Pizza Party Package ticket, you will still be able to purchase pizza and soft drinks during the show from 6-8pm. This event is also BYOB.
