REQUEST FOR APPOINTMENT TO REPLACE PROF. NENTEWA YILWADA FOLLOWING HIS NEW ROLE AS CHAIRMAN OF THE NATIONAL RULING PARTY (APC)
I write with utmost respect and in the spirit of national unity to express my interest in being considered as a suitable replacement for Prof. Nentewa Yilwada following his meritorious appointment as the Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
I am Comrade Timlok Fyenda Esq., MIASS, PhD (in view) the 2023 Plateau South Senatorial Candidate under the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP). Despite a strong campaign and significant grassroots support, I was unfortunately shortchanged in the last election due to the removal of my party’s name and the misrepresentation of our logo on the ballot, which severely undermined my chances.
Your Excellency, I respectfully bring to your attention that under the current APC-led administration, the Tarok nation within Plateau South has not benefitted meaningfully. Appointments and federal opportunities have largely been concentrated in favor of one ethnic group, leaving others, particularly the Tarok people, (populated tribe) marginalized.
In the interest of fairness, inclusivity, and national integration — principles Your Excellency has championed I humbly present myself for consideration to fill the position vacated by Prof. Yilwada. I believe my background, political experience, and the support I command within Plateau South position me as a credible and unifying candidate.
Just as Your Excellency graciously extended a hand across party lines to appoint Hon. Nyesom Wike as the Minister of the FCT, I trust you will also consider my appeal, not on partisan grounds, but on the merit of inclusiveness, competence, and regional balance.
I remain a patriotic Nigerian committed to national service and the unity of our great nation.
