About this Event
Practice together outside of the historic Temple building near Black Rock, next to the sea with the salt rich air and all the benefits of breathing deep.
Be guided through a beautiful practice of sun salutations with a little Kundalini twist to hold the energy.
Opening with a gentle tuning in and warming up with guidance through the 12 movements before moving into the full practice. Listening and learning the mantras without force just through repetition and presence whilst contemplating their meaning and significance.
Finishing with a gentle wind Gong relaxation and meditation.
Optional social afterwards to chat, swim in the sea and enjoy a hot drink from Temple. Highly reccommended.
My hope is that we will build a group of Sun Saluters that will enjoy the benefits of yoga practice together. Moving in rhythm with one another and in harmony with nature.
Practicals
Bring your own mat, blankets, props if needed, water bottle and swimming suit, money for the coffe shop (card only), notebook to record your reflections / journal.
No experience needed and seasoned yogis are also welcomed.
We will be meeting outside Temple on their patio before they open. It is further along from the Reading Room, close to the Marina on the top pathway. Please arrive a few minutes earlier to set up.
Weather dependent although we will endeavour to practice whatever the weather. In the event of cancellation you will be automatically refunded.
We will start on time and finish on time as the Temple staff need to prepare the outdoor space before opening. We will have access to the private bathroom at the back of the Temple. Hot drinks won't be available until the coffeee machine wakes up properly around 8.45am. 😁
