Join Elysia for a fun, interactive Salsa Musicality Masterclass! Open to all levels of dancer, everyone is welcome.Saturday 22nd June, 2024

Elysia is very passionate about music, and has a keen ear for Salsa music and its rich tapestry of offerings. Focusing from the dancers perspective, she enjoys finding simple ways for other dancers to connect with and really feel what they're listening to.
Build your Salsa musicality confidence by gaining a more in depth understanding of how the Pro's seem to make it look like magic!
In this 1.5hr Masterclass you will begin to understand some of the secrets of musicality through:
- Understanding the structure of a song and how to identify hits and breaks.
- How we dance accordingly to the song structure, development and 'story'.
- Identifying instruments and how we can adjust our steps, movement and timings to match accordingly to what we're listening to.
- How our dancing might change depending on the type of Salsa music we're listening to.
- How you can find your emotional connection to music and within the dance with your partner.
All of this through some fun interactive exercises! Don't miss it. Earlybird on tickets until Sunday 16th June.
