Salsa in Yarm's first Saturday of every month social! This month we have the one and only Rasa! Rasa is a regular in Yarm and in addition to our regular social on the evening, we will have an optional afternoon workshop too! An absolutely amazing dancer with a beautiful, elegant style, who inspires and captivates all that behold her. She has become an exceptionally accomplished dancer/ performer and was winner of the 2011 freestyle Salsa and Bachata championships in the UK. Rasa has also gained much experience over many years as a teacher of both Salsa, Bachata and Merengue – with a great teaching style that seamlessly blends her passion and enthusiasm for dancing with a fun, friendly, student-centered and accessible approach. It's always an absolute delight to dance with her and learn from the best! She's always smiling and would love a dance from each and everyone of you so please make sure you ask her!
**********AFTERNOON BACHATA WORKSHOP**********
If you want to learn from one of the very best and improve your technique whilst dancing, this is the afternoon for you!
The workshop will be bookable and payable in advance so we can limit numbers and ensure similar numbers of leaders and followers. We aim to give everyone the best learning experience with Rasa during this bachata workshop.
The workshop will take place between 12pm and 4pm at Yarm Fellowship Hall. There will be three hours of teaching over the afternoon allowing our brains to relax between, ask Rasa questions, practice dancing the moves and of course refuel! We recommend people to bring a packed lunch - we will supply tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits!
Please note, the workshop will be aimed at improver/intermediate level. If you're not sure, please just ask!

June is a while away so we are offering some early bird prices for those wanting to book soon. Please note, places for the afternoon workshop will be limited and we expect it to fill up quickly.

********REGULAR EVENING SOCIAL WITH SALSA CLASS********
There is no need to book for the evening social - just turn up and dance! Rasa will be teaching a salsa class on the evening.
There will be fantastic music all night long by Graham (aka DJ Alto) - predominantly salsa with a good mix of bachata and kizomba.

💃🕺Salsa Class: 8.30pm til 9.30pm
💃🕺Social dancing: 9.30pm til 1am
💃🕺Cost: £12 (no booking required just turn up on the night as always)
Yarm Fellowship Hall is a fabulous venue with a great dance floor, lots of space and seating areas Don't forget to bring any drinks and nibbles you want for a great social night!! 💃🕺💃🕺
