💙 Wouldn’t it be great if there was a quick and easy way to learn how to dance?Salsa is a fun, energetic and exciting partner dance. It’s a very sociable dance, so you don’t need to have a partner to learn, you will make friends quickly and easily at Social Dance Academy Belfast.
We have new dancers joining every week, and everyone is very supportive, especially of new students.
Salsa has become highly popular around the world, and there are 3 main styles of salsa:
Linear or Crossbody salsa, which is the most popular style that we teach regularly at the Academy, then there is Cuban, and Columbian salsa.
We teach L.A crossbody, but with various classes, workshops and guest teachers throughout the year, you can dive into these different types, and learn the history and culture, keeping your curiosity and interest peaked all year round.
Salsa is easy to learn and pick up by beginners, and at the Academy, we have a fast learning curve, allowing you to quickly and easy learn this amazing dance.
Salsa is a culturally rich dance to learn, and with only a few classes, you can start enjoying the many Latin socials, congresses and festivals around the world.
It’s a whole new world with no end to the experiences and learning from different cultures and people.
At the Academy, you can learn rhythm, connection to the music, timing, styling, musicality and much, much more.
