This is the chance to dance and groove to wonderful Latin music!In a group class, learn easy, salsa dance steps, and put them into action with some of the best Latin tunes. It's going to be fun, with lots of encouragement from some great dance instructors!
Then dance to your heart's content in a salsa social.
No experience or partner are required, just a desire to give it a try and enjoy!

What to wear/bring:
Comfortable clothes to move in and shoes without too much grip. Please bring a water bottle.
Your hosts are:
Ian Patrick (DJ Juan Opalo) is an experienced salsa teacher who loves to share his passion for of all things Latin. He's led Street Latin Dance events two years running for Mount Alexander Shire Council and run salsa classes and workshops in Castlemaine and Bendigo. Ian is the producer of The Latin Hour on MainFM; DJ for the Bendigo Latin Festival; and has provided great sound for lots of Latin dance events in Castlemaine and Melbourne
Francis Icasiano joins Ian running this class and has been dancing salsa for many years. Francis is involved in many other community dance initiatives in Castlemaine - he is also known as San FranDisco, silent disco practitioner with the D-Tour trio. He also facilitates Home Body dance meditation outdoors.
