Intro to Salsa On 2 mini-workshop from 8:15pm to 9:00pm.
Salsa and Bachata Social dancing from 9:00pm to Midnight.

The mini-workshop is a conversion workshop for those of you already familiar with Linear Salsa On 1 ("LA style") and who want to learn how (and why) to dance On 2 ("NY style"). This is not a beginner's salsa class so you must already know your basics. If you've just started learning On 2 and want a bit of practise, please come and join in. 😊
Format for the social is 2S:2B. Salsa will be a mix of dura, romantica, and timba. Bachata is bachata sensual.
The venue is an awesome ballroom dance studio in Northbridge featuring a huge, sprung wood dance floor. I'll post some pics and video soon, or check out their social media pages to get an idea of the vibe.
Please note:
* This is an unlicensed venue, there will be no alcohol for sale. However, there is a beautiful bar directly downstairs called "Ambassador Bar" serving drinks and cocktails. You should definitely check it out as that could be a beautiful space for dancing too... 🤔😉
* No stiletto heels (regular dance heels are fine).
* No food or drinks on the dance floor. There is a seating and table area to the side for drinks and nibbles.
Your ticket covers both the mini-workshop and social.
