Salseros Dance Company invites you to audition for our Salsa and Bachata Performance Teams, each offering a 6-month program.
Here are the Teams available:
- Intermediate/Advanced Salsa Performance Team Auditions: Sunday, July 28, 1:00-1:30pm
- Salsa Performance Team (All levels) Auditions: Sunday, July 28, 1:45 pm - 2:15 pm.
- Bachata Ladies Styling Team (All levels) Auditions: Sunday, July 28, 2:30 pm - 3:00 pm.
- Bachata Performance Team (All levels) Auditions: Sunday, July 28, 3:15 pm - 3:45 pm.
- Intermediate/Advanced Bachata Performance Team Auditions: Sunday, July 28, 4:00 pm - 4:30 pm.
As a team member, you will:
- Enhance your dance technique.
- Learn styling and patterns applicable to social dancing.
- Perform a routine locally in Eugene and beyond.
- Enjoy free access to all Salseros group classes.
- Receive free entry to Salseros salsa Fridays.
- Access online videos for reviewing learned material.
- Connect with amazing individuals and have a blast!
Team membership fees are $70/month. Joining two performance teams costs $105/month, and participating in three teams is $140/month. This fee covers training in weekly practices, free access to all Salseros group classes, and complimentary entry to Salseros Friday dances.
The audition involves a brief class to assess your skill level; no preparation or solo performance is required. You can attend without a partner, and we'll be available to answer any questions about the team. Please RSVP on Eventbrite, and there is no cost to attend the audition.
Team practices will be held weekly as follows:
- Intermediate/Advanced Salsa Performance Team: Tuesdays, 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm. (starting Feb 21)
- Salsa Ladies Styling Team: Sundays, 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. (starting Feb 11)
- Bachata Performance Team (All levels): Sundays, 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm. (starting Feb 11)
- Intermediate/Advanced Bachata Performance Team: Sundays, 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm. (starting Feb 11)
