Join Paragon Run Club, Salomon, and MOTIVNY for a run and gear swap! Enjoy special giveaways and post-run drinks!
Have a ton of gear lying around? In celebration of Earth Day, MOTIVNY Outdoors, Paragon Sports, and Salomon Running have collaborated to bring you a first-of-its-kind Gear Swap in downtown NYC. Donate or swap out some items that haven't been serving you anymore.
Here's How it Works. Each attendee will be permitted to swap up to 5 items during gear drop-off windows.
Gear drop-off Days:
- Sunday 4/21 from 12-6 PM
- Monday 4/22 from 12-6 PM
In Paragon's main floor footwear department.
Acceptable Gear to Drop Dig up your brand-new (or clean, washed, and lightly used) jackets, vests, athletic shoes, tops, or bottoms. Running accessories including caps must be brand new.
The Swap For every approved item, you'll receive a ticket to swap for another item when the event begins.
If you don't have any items to swap, we ask that you pay $3 per ticket to join the rummaging for up to 5 items. We will be accepting cash the evening of the event for tickets, proceeds will be donated.

The Run
Meet On Our Lower Level on Tuesday at 6:30 pm for a Run to The West Side and Back. The Run is approx 4 miles. Bag Check is available. Subscribe to our newsletter to learn more.
The Run
Option 1: Tempo/Fartlek/Speed workout with Coach Brian.
- 1-mile warm-up to the West Side Highway
- 16x 90 seconds at HM Pace, 60 seconds off.
- Cooldown back to Paragon
Option 2: Easy 4-mile conversational run.
- 1-mile warmup to West Side Highway
- 2 easy paced miles on the West Side Highway Running Path
- 1-mile cooldown back to the store
Bag check will be available. Bring your own water. After the run stick around for beer on tap in our lounge
RSVPs are not required for these runs, but we'd still love to know if you are coming.
