A jolly troll around the usually wet and muddy parts of His Majesty’s Training Area, with the added excitement* of an attempt to spot, among other things, the flock of breeding Great Bustards that now reside on the East side. These birds are huge – child sized – and well worth seeing.Bring your binoculars, or fight over our 3 pairs of bins and two telescopes.

In addition to many, many lanes, if there is any other unusual wildlife on the Plain we’ll try and find that as well – so possible Hen Harrier and owls, both of which we managed to bag last year in our 60 species total.
