π Address: Pheasant Dr, Old Sarum, Salisbury SP4 6GH
π What to Expect: The Neurodiversity Community Space is a free event that will be held once a month at the OSL Community Centre in Salisbury. Between 11am and 1pm, families are welcome to drop-in or stay and play for the whole session. There will be sensory toys, activities, a dark tent, beanbags for lounging and space to chat with other parents and carers. Biscuits and hot drinks will be available to purchase and free water or squash for children.
βΎοΈ Who is this for: This is a dedicated place where neurodivergent families and individuals can feel fully accepted and able to unmask. This event was created for the ND community, by the ND community and has been organised by parents of neurodivergent children in collaboration with Neurokind. Come as you are!
πΏ Inclusion: The venue is accessible with on-site parking, step-free access, a disabled toilet and baby changing facilities. We are happy to arrange a phone/video call if you would like to chat things over with one of the organisers, or to plan a visit to the venue beforehand to help ease any worries.
πΈ Safety: There are push-to-open handles on all the fire exits and while we will have volunteers helping out, we do ask that parents and carers accompany their children at all times.
π¬ Contact: Please feel free to ask any questions! We can be reached by DM, email ([email protected]). If you have any feedback on how we can improve our accessibility and inclusion or enhance these events, please do let us know!
