During this Lunch & Learn we will be covering all aspects of the sales process. Starting with the mentality of the sales person, all the way to the seemingly elusive goal of getting the prospect over the hump and becoming a paying customer. We will dive into mindset, sales psychology/techniques, and why organization and follow-up are so important. Derek Chard is currently the Owner of TWC Payments. While he has been working with business owners in the merchant service industry for the last 5 years, Derek has been in sales as an entrepreneur for the last 15 years. He started cold calling for Merrill Lynch Wealth Management at 21 years old, opened his first sales company at the age of 23 where he trained and lead an average of 20 sales professionals and has made a living purely off the commission of happy customers and clients ever since. When he started TWC Payments he had no clients and zero revenue and 5 years later the company manages $60 million in card volume annually and upwards of $300k in revenue.
