Registration OPEN!Salem Kids Camp is an ELECTIVE based VBS coming to Salem Covenant Church this summer. Starting June 17 at 6pm, we'll have 4 crazy days together in worship, teaching and different classes that your kid chooses! We are still putting all the electives together, but we'll have cooking, arts, sports and more. Come and make some amazing memories.
There is also an adult elective for parents/guardians who are interested in knowing more about Jesus and Christianity. It's called "Front Porch". Front Porch is designed to answer your questions - even your doubts - about the Christian faith. We will look at faith in an even-handed, logical, practical way.
-Nursery (0-2 years old) For kids of volunteers only.
-Preschool (3-5 years old)
-Fun with Food - Learn how to prepare, make, AND EAT some delicious foods with Peg Johnson in the kitchen!
-Games and Fun - (K-3rd Grade) - Come play some crazy new and old games with Nick Anderson.
-Lego Builders - Come design and build some epic lego creations through various challenges with Jordan Van Loon! - Limit 8
-Nature Crafts - (K-3rd Grade) - Anna Johnson will lead a class creating some amazing artwork using God's creation! - Limit 10
-Outdoor Adventure - (3rd-6th Grade) - Paul Frost teaches campers some incredible outdoor survival skills. - Limit 5
-Sports and Games - (3rd-6th Grade) - Join Luther Brown and play some epic sports and games.
-Weaving Arts - (3rd-6th Grade) Lynn Palmer will teach you how to create some amazing art using the ancient technique of weaving! Kids will get to play around with yarn to create and explore different color combinations, patterns, and textures to create a unique, one-of-a-kind weaving that, when finished, can be adorn their wall as a mini masterpiece! **Attention, be aware of the repetition / attention to detail nature of this elective. Make sure it's a good match for your child before signing up for it. We don't want anyone to get frustrated with the process of weaving. Thank you! - Limit 10
