About this Event
Join programmers and organizers for a sneak peek of the 2026 festival program and special screening of a short film directed by former SFF Shorts Director, Heather Cassano!
This event offers attendees an exclusive preview of the festival's 19th edition, featuring a showcase of film trailers and special video messages from the filmmakers behind our official selections.
After a brief intermission, join us for a screening of the short film THE WILD GIRL OF BRUSHVALLEY TOWNSHIP directed by Heather Cassano (former SFF Shorts Director), with a post-screening Q&A moderated by SFF Programmer Emeritus, Jeff Schmidt.
Special treats will be generously provided by Lulu's Bakery and Pantry. Complimentary popcorn will be provided.
Important Ticketing Information:
To ensure no one is turned away from the event, tickets are required for entry and are available on a sliding scale starting at $10. If cost is a barrier to attending, please reach out to [email protected].
All ticket sales are final. A waitlist will be enabled in the case this event sells out (we expect it to!). Refunds will be granted first come, first serve, if we are able to fill your seat at the event (i.e. move someone off the waitlist).
In alignment with our programming philosophy, a portion of our ticket sales will be shared with our filmmakers of the short film. Any remaining ticket revenue will be used to support the operations of Salem Film Fest 2026. Thank you for your support!
