Wesley Memorial is delighted to be a host church for the eighth annual Salem Bach Festival this year! Join us at 7 p.m. in the Sanctuary on Friday, September 5th for a Vespers service featuring North Carolina’s most talented singers and period instrumentalists. Programming will feature French and French-influenced Baroque music, including J.S. Bach’s Himmelskönig, sei willkommen (King of Heaven, welcome), Charpentier's Laudate pueri Dominum (Praise the Lord, you children), and Couperin's Les Nations, 1er ordre: “La Françoise."The Salem Bach Festival strives to share the music of J.S. Bach and his contemporaries with the Triad community through historically informed performances.
