This year, we are hosting a special preparatory gathering focused exclusively on Upper Egyptian Dance. We are looking for talented performers to grace our stage!
🎭 Who We Need: Solo Artists and Performers specializing in Upper Egyptian Dances (Saidi, Tahtib/Stick dance, etc.).
🚫 Important Note: We are focused on performances; we are not seeking instructors for this event.
🗓️ What to Expect at the Event:
💃 Performance Opportunity: Present your solo segment of Upper Egyptian art to an appreciative audience!
🗓️ Artist Choice: Over the three-day gathering, each confirmed artist can choose the day that best suits them to present their piece.
🛠️ Special Workshop Focus (This Year): While we need performers, the supporting workshop focus will be on Stick Dancing (Tahtib) and the Historical Development of Belly Dancing in Upper Egypt.
🏆 Looking Ahead to Next Year (2026):
The first official annual edition of this event will launch next year! It will be a larger-scale competition featuring one unique discipline from each participating country! Get ready!
