SAKE EDUCATOR/SOMMELIER: Kana (Sake journey ), is a SSA Sake educator as well as a certified sake sommelier. She is the first person who passed SSA certified sake sommelier exam in Australia. Now she rans SSA Sake courses based in Melbourne.

Currently she works as a manager in a sake bar, but also running SSA sake course based in Melbourne.

In her sake master class, she provides a range of services, from private tastings and classes to specially curated meals and pairings. If you're looking to broaden your sake experience, she is the right person. Come explore the Japanese sake with her.

Also, She offers a unique and innovative approach to pairing sake with food. As a sake sommelier, she has a deep passion for sake and the craft behind it. Her mission is to share that passion with others and provide a new experience with sake.

The events she organised were becoming increasingly popular, with tickets sometimes selling out within a week. She has always received high reviews from those who have attended her events.



TRUMPETER & SINGER: Nana (Nana Koizumi ), ​ is a trumpeter, vocalist, composer, educator, graphic designer, and the appointed tourism ambassador of Kashihara City, Nara.


Nana is a leading jazz trumpeter/vocalist in Japan, has a natural talent for delivering breathtaking performances in any genre of music and continues to uplift audiences with her beautiful tone and captivating voice. She is currently performs extensively in Melbourne and Sydney.


Being involved in music exchange activities to spread the music culture of Japan, Nana has participated and organised many Japanese music projects, which included the Sake festival 2023 in Sydney. She was also featured in an interview by SBS Japanese, the national multilingual, multicultural news organisation in Australia, Melbourne.



PIANO: Andy (Andy Mak), is a pianist and composer who was born in Hong Kong. Andy began to study overseas in Melbourne, Australia in 2010 and graduated from Monash university with Bachelor of music and Bachelor of commerce in 2014.

Began learning piano at the age of five, Andy studied under several well known teachers and received several music academic awards offered by the Monash Music Department (Best recital performance in 2011, 2012 Best piano accompaniment in 2012, 2013).


Andy’s debut album “Pianonism” was released in 2015. featuring music by J.S. Bach, Frederic Chopin, Franz Liszt, Sergei Prokofiev, Astor Piazzolla and selection of Andy’s compositions. After two years in 2017, Andy’s second album “Expressionism” was released, which recorded ten pieces of his original composition which were composed between 2014 to 2016.


Andy has received numerous requests for performing in local and international concerts, events, gigs and weddings in his music careers. He is thrilled to be part of this collaboration event and looking forward to performing on the day!
