The Sair Heidie Run is back again for 1st January 2025, so come along and start your January detox at the Sair Heidie !
When : New Year’s Day,11am start for runners, 10.20 am start for walkers, registration from 10.15 am in the Episcopal Church Hall, near the square in Buckie.
Where : Start and finish outside the Episcopal Church Hall, registration inside the hall.
What : An approximately 4.6 mile run/ walk from Buckie out to Strathlene and back through Rathven. Part of the old Buckie 10km route in reverse.
Cost : £5 entry fee , raffle available at £1 per strip. This year all proceeds will be donated to Buckie Wildcat Community First Responders.
Prizes for 1st Male and Female runners home .
All raffle donations will be gratefully received on the day,together with donations for additional prizes to increase the prize list.
Enjoy a fly cup and a piece when you finish, again any donations of food on the day would be most welcome.
Age 16+ only due to the run being held on open roads, all runners participate at their own risk.
Any help on the day would be appreciated eg help at registration, a “ lead bike” to guide the runners or as a “ Tail Runner” covering the back markers.
Sair Heidie has been going for over 20 years, please support us in this traditional Buckie event.
