About this Event
Join New York Yacht Club Curator Alice Dickinson for a tour of some of the iconic spaces and collections in the Club’s West 44th Street clubhouse. Designed by Warren and Wetmore and opened in 1901, the NYYC houses a renowned model collection which traces the evolution of yacht design. In addition to the Model Room, we will explore the recently renovated Silver Gallery, which showcases one of the country's most significant collections of late nineteenth-century presentation silver, including monumental works by Tiffany & Company, Whiting Manufacturing Company, and Gorham Manufacturing Company.
This event is free for Decorative Arts Society Contributors.
