About this Event
Stay Active and Independent for Life (SAIL) is an evidence-based strength, balance and fitness class designed to reduce the risk of falls in older adults. Performing exersises that improve, strength, flexibility, balance and cardiovascular funtion are the single most important activity that adults can do to stay active, independent and reduce the risk of falling.
SAIL Instructor training offers the unique opportunity to actively engage in a hands-on learning environment from a SAIL Master Trainer. You will get to know all about the development of SAIL, experience a seated and standing SAIL class, participate in fitness checks and learn safety protocols to enhance your teaching abilities. You will also receive tools and resources to market, manage and sustain a successful SAIL Program.
