Over the course of a weekend at the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron you'll have the opportunity to get to know your way around a keelboat. No previous experience is necessary. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills, or further improve your sailing in a fun and relaxed environment.
Sailors will be grouped according to skills and experience with 3 levels of training for novice, intermediate and advanced.
Our skippers will provide a safety briefing, then it's down to the marina to get onboard the boats for hands-on sailing experience. Participants will be encouraged to try all the roles of a crew.
At the end of each day's sailing will be the opportunity to socialise and recap on the adventures of the day with drinks and nibbles.
If you've ever been curious about learning to sail, or would like to improve your skills, this is a great opportunity to do so in a safe and constructive space.
Cost is $90 for the 2 days.
