2026 Sailing Season Volunteer Kickoff
Ahoy, crew! Get ready to set sail for an amazing season on the water. Whether you're a returning volunteer, or new to the crew, we can't wait to have you join us!
This year we'll bring our mission to honor those challenged by cancer by harnessing the healing powers of wind, water, and sail, to even more of our community and we need YOU to help us do it!
In addition to lunch, laughter, and a raffle with some cool prizes including SBC VA swag, the Volunteer Kickoff will include:
- An update on WHAT’S NEW for the 2026 Sailing Season
- A chance to mix & mingle with new and returning volunteers
- Mission Sail Moments - A look back, and a shared vision for looking ahead
- Breakout Sessions for Captains, Crew, and Shore Team volunteer roles

Kingsmill Gate Info: All guests that RSVP will be added to list at security gate. When you arrive, please let them know you are there for the Sail Beyond Cancer Virginia event at the Mounts Bay Rec Center.
