About this Event
Are you curious about what it's like to run a small goat dairy and creamery? Our 1.5 hour tour is designed to give visitors a glimpse of life on the farm. Begin with a visit to the goats (usually out on pasture), where you will have the opportunity to interact with them while our guide describes the animal side of our operation. After that, she will take you to the barn and cheesemaking area, where you will get a peek into the cheesemaking process. The final stop on the tour is a guided cheese tasting, where you will be able to ask as many questions as you like, and relax in our farmhouse backyard. Don't forget to stop at our self-serve farm store on your way out to grab some gift items and more cheese for the road!
BABY GOATS!!! Tours in April and May are very special because it's baby goat season! Tours at this time will include baby goat snuggling and bottle feeding.
Note: Our tour is geared toward adults and older children. Because of the inherent dangers on a farm (electric fences, uneven ground, animals, insects), we do not recommend this tour for toddlers and young children. If you do plan to bring children, they need their own ticket, and they must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the tour.
