"Sage Bates has music in her blood.
She started writing as a young child, and after learning to play guitar, she naturally started putting those words to music.
She has grown up in a home filled with music. Some of her biggest influences include Bob Dylan and The Rolling Stones.
At the young age of 17, she is already an accomplished musician, having played out at several local venues and also on the radio at WEHC’s Appalachian Artists show a couple of years ago.
Sage’s songs are heartfelt, meaningful commentary on life and society, paired with skilled guitar work and an authentic voice."
