About this Event
Formerly home to thousands of acres of potato fields and later on a quiet retreat for artists and writers, Sagaponack is surrounded by bucolic landscapes and is now as well known for its tony atmosphere and architecture as it is for its storied farm stands. Our sunset electric bike ride to the beach begins when you check-in and meet our eBike team for a riders’ meeting in the Village Parking Lot at 99 School Street (behind the Candy Kitchen; look for our GO GO Van), and to be properly fitted and oriented to your Royal Dutch Gazelle electric bike. Our 15 mile guided tour experience will be a thoroughly enjoyable ride to the pavilion at Sagg Main Beach, and follows much of the historic street racing route of the vintage Bridgehampton Sports Car Races, but at a relaxing, no-rush pace on a modern Class 1 electric bike.

How to prepare for your Electric Bikes A Go Go eBike Tour Experience
Please arrive promptly (or a few minutes early) for your start time. Riders late for the scheduled 15 minute ORIENTATION & FITTING risk forfeiture of tour ride.
Orientation and Fitting: This is when your Electric Bike Experience tour starts. Tour guides will properly fit you to your reserved eBike and give a tutorial of its specialized controls. A rider meeting will discuss safe riding and rules of the road for the group ride and answer any questions. All riders will be asked to demonstrate confident riding skills before we go on the group ride.
Electric Bikes A Go Go provides a bicycle helmet (feel free to bring your own!) and bottled water. Each eBike has a small zippered handlebar bag for your cell phone, wallet and keys.
We require riders to wear sunglasses or clear eyewear, comfortable closed-toed shoes (no sandals or flip-flops), and bring a windbreaker jacket. During cooler weather, a suitable jacket and gloves are advisable and will make the ride more enjoyable. If you'd like to bring anything else (snacks, etc.), make sure to bring a backpack!
Cancellation Policy:

Andy & Mary Anna Morris
Organizers of Sagaponack Sunset Electric Bike Tour, Sagaponack, NY $125
As lifelong bicycling and travel enthusiasts, it was only natural for Andy and Mary Anna Morris to be curious about the many advantages of riding on modern ebikes. After five years of experiencing them on spectacular adventure tours all over the US and Europe, they realized that electric pedal-assist on a bike meant more people were now able to continue to enjoy cycling longer, improving fitness and well-being, while maintaining independence. Most of all, they are FUN to ride!
As a volunteer bicycling consultant to Southampton Town, Suffolk County and NYS governments, Andy is actively involved in the planning of safety improvements to the East End’s bicycling and pedestrian infrastructure, while encouraging cycling as a major force to tackle pollution and traffic congestion while increasing the health and well-being of its residents. Such sustainable movements are happening with great success all over the US and Europe.
Wishing to share their enthusiasm for eBikes with others, and bring riders to the best places to experience this “new way to move” on eastern Long Island, Andy and Mary Anna decided that 2021 was the ideal time to launch a unique mobile eBike touring experience, ELECTRIC BIKES A GO GO.
