The talk by John Guiver will be on writing the extraordinary and comprehensive story of the 1972 Andes Flight Disaster which was the subject of a recent Netflix film "Society of the Snow" and a Channel 5 3-part documentary "Andes Plane Crash" on which John was a consultant.
This is certain to be a fascinating talk on "what possessed John to give up a career in the field of Artificial Intelligence to write a comprehensive history of the event and how he went about it".
