About this Event
This is the second of AIMS Ireland's get to gether and seminar series on topical issues in our maternity services in 2024. This day event will focus on four topics and will have guest speakers from service users,advocates, campaigners and health care professionals.
11am - 12pm Safety. Presentataion by Claire Cullen and Shane Rodgers of Safer Births Ireland
12pm - 1pm Medicalisation . Our new induction guidelines and their effects. Presentation by Krysia Lynch and the AIMS Ireland team
1pm - 2pm Lunch
2pm - 3pm Profit. The formula industry and the effects on mothers babies and failies. Presentation by Malvina Walsh of BFLGI and others
3pm - 4pm Choice . Six years on - our abortion services. Presentation by AIMS Ireland and special guests
This will be a wonderful opportunity to network with other birthworkers and advocates and also to look at concerningareas of our maternity services.
