Safeguarding Adult Reviews (SARs

A Safeguarding Adult Review (SAR) is a process conducted when an adult has died or has experienced serious harm as a result of abuse or neglect, and there is a concern that partner agencies could have worked more effectively to protect the person at risk.

The purpose of SARs is to learn from these cases to improve future safeguarding practices and prevent similar incidents. Each review is critical in strengthening safeguarding practices and enhancing protection with adults with care and support needs
