Safeguard is a 5-piece emo/pop punk band from Yorkshire. Formed in late2016, they released their debut EP When Did You Stop Caring? In 2017, quickly earning a name for themselves within the scene. Described by Rock Sound as “colliding emo introspection and high-flying pop punk”,the band released I’m a Stranger to Myself featuring lead singles‘Harbour’ and ‘November’.After a fast-paced few years and touring extensively across the UK, following farewell single ‘Severance’ in late 2017, the band announced an indefinite hiatus–disbanding in early 2019.2025 now sees the return of Safeguard–encapsulating their original sound, mixed with new ideas and direction.Disclaimer:
