Families for Safe Streets confronts the preventable epidemic of traffic violence by advocating for life-saving changes and providing support to those who have been impacted by crashes. Jessica will tell her story of why safe systems matter to families and making YOUR voice heard.
8-80 Cities brings community design strategies guided by the simple but powerful idea that if everything we do in our cities is great for an 8 year old and an 80 year old, then it will be better for all people. Gil will speak on quick wins -- what citizens should ask for, to make a difference in 18-24 months.
Dialogue with you - Gil and Jessica's presentations are just the conversation starter. Half of this meeting will be Q&A and brainstorming about what we can do right here in Tampa. Let's explore solutions and come together to make our communities safer for everyone!
** Family-friendly event! On-site child care/ kids' activities provided. **
