In-person and Zoom option available! Children and teens thrive when they feel safe, supported, and seen. But for many, past or ongoing trauma can make it difficult to regulate emotions, build trust, or engage fully in learning and play.
Safe Spaces, Strong Connections is a two-hour interactive workshop designed for educators, caregivers, youth leaders, and anyone who works closely with children and young adults. Together, we’ll explore what it means to be trauma-informed and how to create environments where all kids feel safe to learn, grow, and connect.
Through reflection, discussion, and practical strategies, you’ll learn how to:
• Recognize the signs of trauma and stress in children and teens
• Respond with empathy and understanding
• Foster emotional regulation through supportive practices
• Build strong, trusting relationships that encourage resilience and confidence
You’ll leave this workshop with ready-to-use tools, a deeper awareness of trauma-informed care, and the confidence to create safe spaces where children and young adults can thrive.
