Shame dies when stories are told in safe places.”– Ann Voskamp
We live in a world that rarely encourages us to pause, listen, or tend to what’s stirring beneath the surface. While we are taught to keep moving and hold it all together, this space invites us to slow down, bring what’s real, and sit with the questions that don’t have easy (or any) answers.
This five-session Safe Space of Feel series offers a shared experience of slowing down and reconnecting with ourselves, with each other, and with what’s stirring within. In our experience, profound healing potential lies in the grounded energy of acceptance, empathy, and understanding.
In this group, there is no agenda, no fixing, no pressure to perform or be perfect. Instead, we will ground ourselves in the present moment, breathe deeply, and sit in vulnerability and compassion for ourselves and each other. This space could be especially meaningful to those going through grief, significant changes, and life transitions. It could also be a space of exploration for those questioning the meaning, purpose, or direction of life.
As facilitators, we will hold a gentle but grounded container for this experience while honoring that each participant brings their own questions, wisdom, and truth. Together, we will co-create a space where all feelings are welcome and nothing needs to be forced.
In our time together we will practice journaling, somatic exercises, and silence. We will share music, poetry, and deep listening. There will be structure, but also spaciousness to allow room for what arises in the moment. You are invited to show up as you are and bring whatever is alive for you — grief, hope, confusion, clarity, weariness, joy.
This is a space for being, not doing. A space for witnessing, not solving. A space to soften, to release, and honor the full range of the human experience.
Past participants have said:
"It's difficult to adequately convey how much the Safe Space to Feel group positively impacted me in a moment in time that I really needed it. Through group discussion, journaling, and music, Kristabeth and Greg created an incredibly nonjudgmental, healing space that allowed me to process—and, when I felt ready, to communicate and release—some things I had been holding onto. What I learned about myself in the presence of others was incredibly valuable. Everyone in the group was very respectful and there was never any pressure to share. Honestly, I can't recommend this group enough!" Heather
“The agenda was a perfect blend of music, poetry, meditation, journaling & sharing in a small group. I benefitted from the regrounding experience you facilitated.” Linda
