About this Event
Safe Space Saturday's is intended to be a series of conversations about mental health and self care with the goal to help us connect us to resources, share our experiences and a space to connect while we heal.
We kicked of part 1 of the series in January with"Does checking goes off have you in a chokehold".
Next up is " U+ME and Realtionships that Agree. We will be joined by Mental Health/Sex Therapist Jasmine Richardson for part 2. We intend to dive into discussion about dating, relatinships, sexual wellness and of course mental health.
Proceeds from this series will go towards The Millennial Insights Pack Lite event and BrownGirl SPACE mental health assistance fund.
Destiny Simon, MHA is the Founder of The Millennial Insight and a mission driven mental health advocate, creative and program coordinator. Destiny obtained her Masters in Health Administration from Saint Joseph's University and used her refined skillset to create a small business dedicated to providing a safe place for young adults who are facing adversity. Her experience in case management and trauma informed care piqued her interest to facilitate interactive community workshops, that focus on mental health, self awareness, grief, depression and harm reduction.
