The Vanderburgh County Health Department is hosting a Trade-In Event on Saturday, October 5th from 10 am – 2 pm. Vanderburgh County Residents can bring in any unsafe sleep item to the Health Department and trade it in for a pack ‘n play or sleep sack. Unsafe Sleep items may include Rock ‘n Play, bumper pads (mesh or regular), damaged products, DockATot, Snuggle Nest, baby wedges, weighted sleep sacks, baby blankets, crib tents, bedside sleepers, etc. Eligibility -
• Any expecting parent or primary caregiver
• To qualify for a pack n play, parents/caregivers
- must be 25 weeks or greater, or have an infant less than one;
- must not already have a safe place for their baby;
- must not have the financial means to purchase one.
