About this Event
Safe Sitter is a medically accurate course to help young teens age 11 and up feel more confident in their ability to care for younger children. Topics covered include infant and child CPR, caring for a choking infant or child, injury prevention and management, behavior management, safety for the sitter, childcare essentials and more. This class can even help young teens feel more comfortable staying home alone.
All information is medically accurate and is taught by trained Safe Sitter instructors. During the course, students get hands-on practice in basic lifesaving techniques, so they are prepared to act in a crisis. Also, each student receives a manual filled with great information and resources for the course and on the job, a Safe Sitter backpack, important numbers Post-it pads, a Band-Aid dispenser, and flashlight.
Cancellation & Refund Policy: Cancellations must be within made within 48 hours in order to receive a refund or reschedule. Registrants will forfeit refund if registration is not cancelled within 48 hours. Registrants can re-schedule a class one time. If registrant fails to attend the rescheduled classes, he/she will not be able to reschedule, and funds are forfeited.
